We are pleased to announce the Department for Education have issued the Council for Disabled Children a contract worth £20million. In partnership with Contact and IPSEA, CDC will provide families and young people with SEND with impartial advice, support and information about the services and support on offer.
More information on the announcement is available here.
Within this contract, CDC will lead the new Information Advice and Support Programme. The programme is designed to ensure that, in every local authority area, children and young people with SEND and their parents have access to impartial information, advice and support covering SEND issues – including through a dedicated Freephone service.
