Gayle Munro joined the Research and Policy team in January 2018 as Head of Research & Evidence.
She previously managed the research team at The Salvation Army for eleven years where she led on research projects around children and families, homelessness, trafficked people, refugees and other migrants and people with learning disabilities.
Gayle has held previous research positions at the Organisation for Security & Cooperation in Europe (Bosnia & Herzegovina), at the European Centre for Minority Issues (Germany) and at social researchers, Lemos&Crane (London). Gayle has sat on a number of academic, statutory and NGO advisory groups, particularly in the field of migration.

BA (Hons) (1998) French and Music
Gayle has authored and co-authored a number of journal papers and her doctoral thesis, ‘Transnationalism, Diaspora and Migrants from the former Yugoslavia in Britain’ was published by Routledge (2017)
