As financial controller Dan helps NCB’s management to ensure that there are robust financial controls in place. These procedures will also demonstrate to funders that NCB is using money carefully and providing good value for money in all we do.
Dan joined NCB in 2012, prior to that he spent four years at Cafcass (the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service). This role gave him valuable experience of working with government and a child-centred environment. Whilst there he ensured the organisation maintained value for money and helped embed robust and proportionate financial controls.
Dan is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and combine this knowledge as a qualified accountant with over fifteen years’ experience of finance across commercial, public and not for profit sectors.
Dan has also served as a trustee and treasurer of a small charity near to his home.
