Celeste leads on developing children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing policy.
She also delivers a stakeholder engagement programme in NCB’s capacity as the Department for Education’s early years partner. This involves communicating policy and practice developments to the early years sector and facilitating engagement opportunities that allow the sector to share their views with Government.
Celeste strongly believes that children and young people have a right to have their say and be listened to on decisions that will affect them most. She enjoys working with young people and the children’s sector on the influential #ChildrenAtTheHeart campaigns which bring the sector together to amplify children and young people’s voices at key moments in the political cycle.
Prior to joining NCB in 2019, Celeste worked at Coram Family and Childcare, managing the National Association of Family Information Services membership and disseminating early years and childcare research and policy to a variety of audiences.
